Introducing the Ryan Builds Wheels Club Road/CX Disk Brake Wheelset.
Our high-end, handbuilt and semi-custom road and CX wheelset, for disk brakes. Described by Road.cc as “hard to fault, highly dependable”.
Designed to be super-reliable, crazy light and zippy on the hills these are the quintessential workhorse of the club runner and value-conscious racer snake.
Built as standard in 700c with Club Road Disk rims, Bitex Centrelock Disk hubs and Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes. We’ve created a fast, light, stiff and tough road and CX wheelset that’ll go toe-to-toe with any of those mass-manufactured, volume-sales wheel brands.
Club Road and Sprint rims are the choices of wheel builders in the know. 6066 T6 heat-treated alloy offers increased strength of the default 6061 (with spoke beds tested to over 300kgf) and there’s a double-locking bead for easy tubeless setup. Heat treatments are applied post extrusion and welding, allowing for strength at the join rather than creating an area of weakness. We love them, we’re sure you will too.
