Introducing the Ryan Builds Wheels Club MTB Disk Brake Wheelset.

Our high-end, handbuilt and semi-custom mountain bike wheelset, for disk brakes…naturally!

Designed to be super-customisable, killer value and absolutely bombproof. More than just a single wheelset, the Club MTB Wheels is a high-end, customisable platform that allows me to build kick-ass XC, Trail, Enduro and Downhill wheels to your exact specification.

I’ve handpicked a series of my favourite components (and tested them on the Starling Cycles Team) that are high-end, durable, a pleasure to build with and with down-to-earth pricing.

And, of course, you can choose to go as loud-and-lairy with the colours as you like, with loads of custom options.

Available in 650b and 700c and built as standard with Club Rims, Bitex MT Series Six Bolt Hubs and Sapim Race spokes.  We’ve created a high-spec and superbly priced MTB wheelset that’ll go toe-to-toe with any of those mass-manufactured, volume-sales wheel brands.

Club MTB Rims are the choice of wheel builders in the know. 6066 T6 heat-treated alloy offers increased strength of the default 6061 (with spoke beds tested to over 300kgf) and there’s a double-locking bead for easy tubeless setup. Heat treatments are applied post extrusion and welding, allowing for strength at the join rather than creating an area of weakness. We love them, we’re sure you will too.

Upgrades:

• Choose your rim to match your riding style – XC, AM/XC, Full Volume AM, eBike / DH.
• Choose Sapim D Light spokes to shave off circa 70g, whilst still creating bombproof wheels.
• Choose Sapim CX-Ray spokes to shave off circa 100g, whilst still creating bombproof wheels.
